The Family Caregivers Center of Mercy provides emotional support and access to community resources for family caregivers caring for individuals with adult chronic conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, cancer and heart conditions, for example.
It offers family caregivers one-on-one visits, access to hourly and overnight respite, educational sessions and events, a resource library and art, music and massage therapy.
All services are available at no cost for family caregivers, regardless of their hospital or physician affiliation. The goal is to reduce the stress of the family caregiver and keep him or her healthier.
